What your credits buy
Credits measure how much work the AI does for you. Here is roughly what one month of each plan covers.
| What you do | Basic | Pro | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quick questionsA question and a short answer. | 5 messages in total | about 1,400 a month | about 7,100 a month |
| Long conversationsMany back-and-forth messages, with the earlier ones still in view. | — | about 280 a month | about 1,400 a month |
| ImagesOne image, made or edited. | Not included | about 110 a month | about 580 a month |
| Code taskskaleidify Code reads a few files, makes an edit and runs your tests. | Your own models only | about 400 a month | about 2,000 a month |
Each figure assumes you spend the whole month on just that. They use Studio's everyday model (GLM 5.2) and standard images; stronger models use more credits per answer. Studio and Code credits are separate.

Questions
Credits measure how much work the AI does for you. A short answer uses a small fraction of a credit; a long answer, an image or a coding task uses more. Pro and Max give Studio and Code their own monthly credits, so a busy month in one never uses up the other.
Every plan includes everyday models, which are quick and handle most work well. Pro adds stronger models for harder problems, and Max adds our most capable models. Bigger models use more credits per answer; the model picker shows which is which.
That product pauses until your credits refill on the first of the month, or until you move to a plan with more. Studio and Code run out separately. A request that's already running is allowed to finish, even if it takes you slightly below zero. On Basic, once your 5 messages are used, continuing needs a paid plan.
No. Paid credits refill on the first of each month (at midnight UTC) and unused ones don't carry over. Basic's 5 messages are a one-time allowance and don't refill.
Yes. Go to Account and billing and manage your subscription there. If you cancel, your account page shows the date your plan ends. Your saved conversations stay readable afterwards on any plan.
You pay for twelve months at once and save 20%: $192 a year for Pro and $960 a year for Max. Credits still refill every month.
Studio and Code are new and we're improving them all the time, so some things will change and a few may have rough edges. If you subscribe during the beta, your price stays the same for as long as you stay subscribed, and every credit you've paid for is honoured.
Yes. Sign in with your Kaleidify ID and point Code at a model server you run, such as Ollama. It works on any plan, including Basic, and uses no Kaleidify credits; you cover the cost of running the model.
